UPDATE: Now I have had this for 2 days and I like it more than I did. Woke up this morning and it was at 88% battery... put it on charge while I took a shower and when I got back, it was at 100% in like 10 minutes, very nice. That was at 8am... now is 10:30 in the evening, about to goto bed, and it is at 94% so I'm down 6 percent in 14 hours and 30 minutes. Continuous heart rate monitoring, I did turn the brightness down from max to about 20% which was very viewable except in bright sunlight, and I'm sure that had a major impact on battery life. Love this thing
UPDATE #2: Now a few days in and I'm learning this thing. First, the wake up gesture will drain the battery fastest, even in sleep mode, just moving your wrist will wake it up. There is a little "home" button at the bottom middle of the screen, just touch it when you want to see everything. Today is just totally unreal, from 8am (shower time, still haven't worked up the nerve to shower with it on, so when I shower I put it on charge) to 8pm... 12 hours, and I am still at 100% battery. I still have it set to continuously check my heart rate, but without the wake up gesture being on, it apparently uses so little battery. My next and hopefully final update will let y'all know how long I can go between charges, so tomorrow I'm not charging and we will see how long it goes. I've heard 12 days, and 15 days and so on but I really want to see, and I will report my findings.
UPDATE #3: Wow, just amazing. I charged my battery to full at 8am on April 1st, my watch finally died at 5:00pm on April 15th, well over 2 weeks later. You must be aware that the WAKE UP GESTURE is nice and fun and everything, turn it off to save battery. My watch still continuously checks my heart rate or I could have gotten more time from my charge, but this works fantastic. I love this little fitness tracker and I'm sure y'all will as well.
Big HINT: DO NOT WEAR YOUR BAND TOO TIGHT. I can still fit my finger under the band when it is on my wrist and it still works perfectly, it doesn't have to cut your circulation to work... and my bad, the EZCO 3 pack does not live up to expectations, seems the protector develops bubbles quickly and eventually just falls off, which saddened me because I liked those protectors in particular, but I did get [6 Pack] Aimtel Compatible with Fit2
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JPQ54Y4?
and they seem to work very well, I have had them 5 days so far and no problems at all. Good luck y'all
Step counting, heart rate, and notifications turned out to be most important to me and from here I learned of the watch’s limitations: step count was a little off but not so much as to make it useless. Heart rate was mostly accurate for zone 1 and 2. When I started seeing resting HRs of 41 and max effort HRs of 185 I started getting skeptical.
I’ve since moved on to a Watch5, which far better at HR and steps. But it’s also more expensive and complicated, and the battery runs down much quicker. And I credit the Fit2 for providing the set up training and feature awareness that saved me frustration with the Watch5.
Pros:
*Samsung Health app is great for keeping track of everything.
*Battery lasts 9 days!
*Very slim and aesthetic AF👌
*Has plenty of features that cover most of what you would want.
Cons:
*The setup process was a very finicky on my pixel 5 but once you get through it, no worries.
*It's personally not the most comfortable but not a deal breaker. I can still sleep with it on no prob.
*Cannot customize the home face. There are some presets in the app though.
*Cannot download apps. It has pre-downloaded features that you can customize.
*Pedometer is more of an approximate than accurate.
Overall, definitely worth the price.

Much more prefer this over a full blown smart watch. Does all the basics well, battery lasts like a good week on a full charge and even after a good 6+ months of daily use the battery is still strong, though have noticed a very slight increase in battery usage - to be expected.
The strap has held up great, I was worried it may fray or wear but so far no cracks or cuts.
I have whacked the face of the device pretty good and not even a scratch on it.
I wear this everywhere. Other than the shower and anywhere I would have to submerge it in water for any length of time and have had no issues.
For a "dumb" device it has enough customizable display options you should be able to find something you like. Being able to reorder the functions is handy, I have my water intake, calendar, temp, timer/stopwatch and workout monitor as my selected apps.
Having the device pick up workouts automatically is recommended as I find it very rewarding to get that little buzz while going on a walk that I am at a good pace. Very motivating. I use mine in conjunction with a Samsung phone and the data it collects together is impressive.
Sleep tracker seems pretty accurate. Occasionally I will have a night where it doesn't read but they are rare.
Highly recommend this product, especially sub 100 dollars.

It's something that Samsung has failed to emphasize before selling you the product; I had to specifically look this issue up to realize it was a pre-existing one across any type of tablet. Smartwatches just don't like tablets, period. If you were like me and thought this would be a good accessory for your Tab, turn back. There's no hope for you. Seems counterproductive that the lightest convenient product would not work with the bulkiest one, but that's Samsung's choice.
It seems unfair of me to rate it at all, considering I never actually got to see it in action before returning it to the box. I'm giving it 2 stars because it fails to even work as a digital watch without pairing to a phone.
