Rockstar Games has officially opened pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI.

The highly anticipated open-world action-adventure game is set to launch on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players who pre-order digital versions of the game will be able to begin pre-loading on November 12, 2026.

One important detail to note: the physical version of Grand Theft Auto VI will contain a download code inside the box. A disc will not be included at launch.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be available in Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition.

The Standard Edition includes the base game and will retail for $79.99.

The Ultimate Edition will retail for $99.99 and includes an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, customization options, and additional content tied to Jason and Lucia’s story.

All Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders and purchases before November 20, 2026 will include the Vintage Vice City Pack, a collection of items inspired by Vice City’s neon-soaked past. Digital pre-orders will also include one free month of GTA+.

Game Overview

Grand Theft Auto VI is the next mainline entry in Rockstar Games’ long-running open-world action-adventure series.

Set in Vice City and the state of Leonida, the game follows Jason and Lucia after an easy score goes wrong, pulling them into a dangerous conspiracy across the state. With the odds stacked against them, the two must rely on each other to survive the darker side of America’s sunniest place.

Rockstar describes Grand Theft Auto VI as the biggest and most immersive evolution of the series yet, with the launch version featuring a single-player experience.
