HONG KONG — June 1, 2026 — Playasia today announced an official partnership with independent developer and publisher Eastasiasoft Limited, alongside acclaimed developer Idea Factory, to launch the first official English localization of Hakuoki Memoirs: Drifting Clouds for the Nintendo Switch.
Following prior successful collaborations for Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom and Hakuoki SSL ~Sweet School Life~, this upcoming release expands the availability of the beloved franchise to Western audiences and global collectors. Known in Japan as Tenun no Shou, Hakuoki Memoirs: Drifting Clouds features a curated collection of side stories taking place between the chapters of Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom. The title offers players deeper insight into previously unseen narrative events and branching romantic paths determined by player choice.
The software will feature comprehensive English text support paired with original Japanese voiceovers.
Physical editions will be available for pre-order exclusively at Playasia on Thursday, June 4th at 11:00 PM Hong Kong Time (11:00 AM ET / 8:00 AM PT / 4:00 PM UK).
